One of my favorite things about making soap is that sometimes the best ideas happen completely by accident.
I had a few end cuts left from Sugar Lychee Sorbet and Chamomile, laid them together, and couldnât stop smelling them. The juicy, fruity sweetness of the lychee with the soft florals and green notes of chamomile just worked. It was one of those moments where I immediately thought, âYep⌠this needs to be a whole loaf.â
So here she isâfreshly made, freshly cut, and headed to the curing rack.
I still get excited every time a new scent comes together, and it makes me so happy knowing there are people out there who get just as excited to see these creations as I do to make them. Thank you for loving my little soap adventures and letting me share them with you. đ
As I stood back and looked at the finished loaf, the colors reminded me of a field of wildflowers in the distance. So it only seemed fitting that this accidental beauty would be called Wildflowers. đź
Sheâll be resting on the curing rack until the end of July, and I canât wait to introduce her to you then.
