1981- 5 yrs old, Godparents 7ft basement table w/ red cloth. 1st drew my cueball a few inches (instantly fell in love!) Most mornings I can't remember where I parked my car, but I vividly remember shooting the orange 5 ball and drawing the cueball five inches 40 years ago!

1994 - 18 yrs old, started playing at the recreation center at my college.
Met several players and began frequenting a local pool room, River City Blilliards in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia. Pat Tancredi moved the cueball as I imagine an artist uses brushstrokes to create a masterpiece. Subtle spins to create angles, I could watch him play for hours.

2005 - 29 yrs old, moved to Chattanooga, TN and started playing leagues and tournaments. Introduced to professional level players and began playing competitively. Shannon Daulton's Great Southern Billiards Tour. Regional and local events. Phil Smith began introducing me to drills and provided insight on how to improve. Started understanding and improving mechanics / fundamentals.

2011 started seeking formal instruction
