L3Harris Mullin bought L3Harris, a large defense contractor, while sitting on the Senate Armed Services Committee with that position up since we flagged it. Carpenter Technology Mullin bought Carpenter Technology which makes alloys used by defense contractors while he sits on Armed Services. Raytheon Mullin bought up to fifty thousand in Raytheon just days before the US launched a military operation in Venezuela while sitting on Armed Services. Badger Meters Mullin bought Badger Meters which makes automated water systems while on the Environmental Services Committee at the time the EPA passed a requirement for utilities to upgrade automated water systems. This page is for those in Washington’s 5th Congressional District who believe the Republican Party should stand for integrity, responsibility, and the rule of law.

It was created out of concern with much of what this administration has done—policies such as sweeping tariffs, pardons for those involved in January 6, broad ICE raids that are not targeted at criminals, and what appears to be an unnecessary war with Iran despite promises of “no new wars.”

It also reflects frustration that our current representative consistently supports these policies and rarely speaks out when they are wrong or out of step with the needs of his constituents. Our district deserves leaders with integrity and the backbone to stand up for what is right.

At the same time, this is not a space for a far-left tax-and-spend agenda either. Most Americans fall somewhere in the middle, and there should be room for common ground and practical compromise. Fiscal responsibility matters, but the very wealthy should also contribute more.

The goal is for this page to be a place for debate and constructive ideas from Republicans not beholden to the MAGA movement that has taken over the GOP.
