Insidual

Hey all 🤘 I know this project has been fairly quiet for the past couple of years, and there’s a reason for that.

When I started Insidual back in 2018, I created it as a way to not only create some of the heaviest music I’ve ever written and have fun, but to also serve as a way to help me in ways therapy never could. I’m sure I’m not the only one that finds solace in angry music. It’s calming. It was a way for me to write about things that were significantly worse than my reality so that things day-to-day didn’t seem so bad.

I spent the first 4 years writing and releasing music completely by myself. After moving back to my hometown I wanted to do more with this project, and so a few great buddies of mine helped me put it on stage and film a music video for the very first time 2 years ago.

Insidual has been incredibly difficult to do on my own, and I have struggled to stay consistent with new releases, especially since I joined another project, and started producing and working with bands at my studio, King Audio. I thought of bringing in permanent band members to help with writing, funding, and overall creativity, but at the end of the day, it was just not possible for a number of reasons.

It also feels that in today’s age, without putting significant time, effort and funding into releases, the algorithms will never work in your favor, and any new music released without said effort would be a waste — just new music floating in the abyss for few to hear.

My enjoyment with music strives from an ability to share it with others who would enjoy it, but it takes a strong level of passion to make that project heard. In short, I feel that I’ve lost my passion with this project to keep it going.

So as of today, I’ve decided to officially put Insidual to rest. The music will always continue to be available to stream, and I will always be appreciative to those who continue to support this music that I’ve put so much into. 🤘

JUST A HEADS UP!: We are in the middle of fixing a distribution issue and re-uploading some of our music. In the near future some of our music may be gone from streaming services for a short time before they are back up again. Thanks to everyone who continues to support and listen!
