🇺🇸 I don’t know whether President Trump and Secretary Rubio are receiving accurate and reliable intelligence, but what is clear is that the Venezuelan dictatorship continues to do whatever it wants—openly mocking the United States to its face.

Take political prisoners, for example. According to credible NGOs, by early 2026 their number ranged between 800 and 900. Even worse, around 60 of them have disappeared—no one knows whether they are alive or were executed in prison.

President Trump claimed that a significant number had been released. However, the updated list published by the Venezuelan Penal Forum shows fewer than 50 releases. Meanwhile, political prisoners such as Captain Juan Caguaripano, Josnars Baduel, and many others remain behind bars.

Another blatant example: new appointments within the regime of the illegitimate Delcy Rodriguez. A thug like Gómez López—member of the Cartel de los Soles and wanted with a reward on his head—has now been named Head of the Presidential Guard. And the new Chief of the Presidential Office? Retired Captain Juan Escalona.

As we say in Venezuela: same criminals, different outfits.

🇻🇪 No sé si el Presidente Trump, el Secretario Marco Rubio y la Secretaria Karoline Leavitt están recibiendo información precisa y fiable, pero lo que sí está claro es que la dictadura venezolana sigue haciendo lo que le da la gana, burlándose abiertamente de Estados Unidos en su propia cara.

Toma como ejemplo a los presos políticos. Según ONGs creíbles, para principios de 2026 su número oscila entre 800 y 900 personas. Aún peor, alrededor de 60 de ellos han desaparecido y nadie sabe si están con vida o si fueron ejecutados en prisión.

El presidente Trump afirmó que se había liberado a un número importante. Sin embargo, la lista actualizada publicada por el Foro Penal Venezolano muestra que no alcanzan ni 50 los liberados. Mientras tanto, presos políticos como el capitán Juan Caguaripano, Josnars Baduel y muchos otros siguen tras las rejas.”

Otro ejemplo flagrante: los nuevos nombramientos dentro del régimen de la ilegítima Delcy Rodríguez. Un esbirro como Gomez Lopez, miembro vinculado al llamado Cartel de los Soles y con recompensa por su captura, ha sido nombrado Jefe de la Guardia Presidencial. ¿Y el nuevo Jefe de Despacho Presidencial? El Capitan (r) Juan Escalona.
