Friends and Neighbors of Spartanburg County —

Today is a crucial day for our community — one that will shape our future in many meaningful ways. I’m writing to you not just as a candidate for Sheriff, but as someone committed to service, integrity, and accountability — values I’ve long held and pledged to bring to the job.

I want to offer a heartfelt thank you to each of you who’ve stood with me, shared your stories, hung up a sign, made a phone call, knocked on a door, or simply said “I’ll vote” and stuck to it. Your support has brought us this far, and it matters more than you know.

But today isn’t just about this one race. It’s about the entire ticket — every elected position up and down the ballot matters: school board, county council, statehouse, judiciary. These offices affect our taxes, our schools, our roads, our safety, our children’s future, our way of life. When you get in the booth or mark your ballot, you’re not just voting for me — you’re voting for a stronger, safer, more accountable Spartanburg County.

So I’m asking you: please vote today. Show up. Cast your ballot. Bring your spouse, your college-aged kids, your neighbor who isn’t sure. Every vote counts. Every voice matters.

When you pull that curtain closed and drop your ballot, know this: I am honored and humbled that you have trusted me. I will carry your trust into the Sheriff’s Office and work every day to build an agency Spartanburg County can be proud of — one anchored in community-oriented policing, full transparency, support for our deputies and their families, and meaningful reform of our detention and re-entry systems.

I am deeply saddened by the tragic loss of a Spartanburg County Deputy who passed away following an off-duty motorcycle accident. This is a heartbreaking reminder of how quickly life can change, and it leaves a void not only in his family, but in the entire law enforcement community. Please keep his loved ones, and the men and women of the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office, in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this difficult time together.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of South Carolina State Trooper First Class Dennis D. Ricks, who gave his life in the line of duty. We ask our community to lift his family, friends, and the men and women of the Highway Patrol and all law enforcement across our state in prayer. In times like these, we are reminded that law enforcement is more than a job; it is a family. Regardless of the uniform or the badge, we stand together in service, sacrifice, and support for one another.

The truth always prevails. In last night's debate, my opponent tried again to lie about my record. But I brought the facts and showed the truth. This episode speaks to the importance of character, integrity, and transparency. As your sheriff, I will always tell you the truth and focus on what matters most: keeping you and your family safe.

Here we go again. My opponent has chosen to get in the mud and lie about me. And there is one reason why: he’s losing and he knows it.

Here are the facts:
✅ I voted for President Trump in 2016, 2020, and 2024.
✅ I have almost 30 years of law enforcement experience.
✅ I’m the only candidate who has committed to working with ICE to enforce immigration laws through 287g.

And most importantly, I’m the only candidate who has been transparent with voters and released my entire personnel file.

If my opponent is so desperate that he’s lying about me - what does that say about his character and how he will lead?
