What an incredible outreach day at https://www.facebook.com/ShermanCollegeofChiropractic Kid Venture Day! 🐾

Nearly 300 curious kids and families stopped by our table to learn about Chaser the Border Collie and how dogs—and people—learn best through play, curiosity, and connection.

We loved sharing Chaser’s story, exploring the science of learning, and seeing so many young minds light up with excitement about animals and kindness.

A huge thank you to everyone who visited us and helped make the day so special. Your enthusiasm reminds us why we do this work—inspiring the next generation to stay curious, be kind, and never stop playing.

We are excited to be hosting a table at Wellford Academy of Science & Technology STEM night. Lots of fun in store!

We recently had the honor to partner with Harper and Friends Dog Grooming, a local grooming salon in Spartanburg, to teach Pet First Aid & CPR — because knowing what to do in those first critical minutes matters.

🐾 Exciting News from The Chaser Initiative! 🐾

Mia the Newfoundland and Finn the Labrador Retriever are officially registered R.E.A.D.® (Reading Education Assistance Dogs)! These gentle, certified therapy dogs volunteer alongside their handlers to help children build confidence and joy in reading.

The Chaser Initiative is proud to pilot the R.E.A.D. program in Spartanburg School District One at Inman Intermediate, where students will get to read aloud to their furry friends in a calm, encouraging setting.

Mia is partnered with Ingrid Norris, Executive Director of Education for The Chaser Initiative, and Finn with owner Deb Daly.

We recently had the pleasure of sharing Chaser's story and legacy with some of the students at The Chandler School in Greenville, SC. Being in an ideal learning state necessitates good hydration, well-fed, healthy inside (getting a thumbs up) and out. Mia is learning the name of the toy clam!
