Who is Valisa In The Upstate? (Pt 1)
(1) An Upstate SC transplant that has lived and traveled all over the continental US (except the New England States).
(2) A (later in life) first time mom to my rainbow 🌈 baby boy, Grayson. Grayson is intelligent, kind, charming, mild mannered, outdoorsy, a music lover, autistic and a non-reliable speaker.
(3) Wife to Charles…a very active father and caregiver who’s always in our pics and videos.
(4) A mom/caregiver/advocate/friend/acquaintance/sitter/information sharer/resource who has embraced the Upstate SC Caregiver Community.
(5) A blessed homeschool mom who enjoys socializing and taking her kiddo on adventures that introduce him to the world around him. I crave novel experiences and bring my little family along for the ride.

Guess what? Caro Dainer has joined the admin team at Autism Support Greater Spartanburg and she’s on a mission to help this community connect…one meetup at a time! 🎉

At our last meetup in April (see photo 👇), Caro was the only autistic adult who showed up and she was super sweet with our kiddos. Since then, she has recently celebrated a birthday and joined “Autistic Adults (18+) In Upstate SC” so she won’t be this time!
