The Future of Travel Planning: How AI is Revolutionizing You... 04/30/2025

New research by Mobi.AI data scientist Jiahao Liu finds that Mobi’s AI outperforms Gemini Pro and GPT-4 at travel itinerary generation by over 30x.

A recent benchmark study from Fudan University, The Ohio State University, The Pennsylvania State University, and Meta AI found that LLMs (large language models) like Google’s Gemini Pro and OpenAI’s GPT-4 perform poorly in travel planning, with success rates of only 1.1% and 0.6%, respectively.

As part of Mobi.AI’s latest research to support our Intent Driven Search product, Mobi has built a prototype system to explore how AI can more intelligently and reliably plan multi-step travel itineraries. Mobi’s AI outperforms existing models significantly, achieving a 32.8% success rate—over 30 times higher than other LLMs.

Disney’s Strategy Sets Standard For Simplicity: 5 Key Lessons For CTOs 04/10/2025

We love being quoted in Forbes for this article on how Disney's digital strategy is all about creating space for humanity in an increasingly automated world.

"Harriet Brown, Head of Product at Mobi.AI remarked, “Businesses are seeking to grow emotional loyalty with their customers with unique experiences. AI will enable the delivery of experiences that feel custom-designed as they have been tailored to individual preferences at a price point and scale that reaches more consumers. AI recommendation engines powered by natural language or imagery will help consumers discover these experiences they might never have found otherwise. Businesses can utilize this deeper understanding of their customers to provide truly personalized future offerings.”"

At Mobi.AI, we believe in the importance of community and keeping humans in the loop as we think about how technology can benefit people—and food is a major part of that.

Food brings people together. At Mobi we eat lunch together at big group tables everyday from different local restaurants. We regularly cook elaborately themed dinners (recent themes include Santa Fe and year of the dragon) for each other and for our esteemed Mobi Speaker Series guests.

Mobi.AI is a deeply technical company on the cutting edge of AI technology, but we also seriously value creativity and love thinking outside of the box. Whether it’s bi-weekly crafting sessions, work anniversaries that we celebrate by sculpting with metal clay, or competitive gingerbread house-making at the company holiday party, we love the opportunity to get creative together!

It helps that our team is chock-full of brilliant folks who are also artists, musicians, metalsmiths, and more (we loved getting to celebrate them in our recent window decals).
