Meet Dr. Jason Sweitzer, DVM, the heart behind ALL HEARTs Veterinary Hospital! 💜

Practicing since 2000, Dr. Sweitzer brings decades of experience across family practices, emergency care, and academic institutions like the UC Davis Veterinary Teaching Hospital. A Ventura County native, they grew up with a love for animals of all kinds, from dogs and cats to reptiles, birds, and small mammals (chameleons included! 🦎).

Known for behavior-focused, low-stress care and clear communication, Dr. Sweitzer is passionate about strengthening the human-animal bond and supporting mental health in the veterinary profession as a founding board member of Not One More Vet. When they're not in the clinic, you'll find them playing saxophone, cycling, coaching field hockey, or winning a pun competition or two.

Dr. Sweitzer is proud to bring this experience and compassion to the Simi Valley community.

Today made our day. Out shopping and someone offered to help load the car as they wanted the parking space. They realized that Dr. Jason Sweitzer had actually saved their dog a decade ago. When they shared their story of how he and his team saved their dog in the middle of the night, it brought such pride and warmth to us. He’s been practicing as a vet for 16 years and more than a decade back in Ventura County (where he was raised and is raising his kids too).
