5 Tons is roughly 4 cubic yards. This will cover a 20’x20’ area 3” thick.

Sb2 is most commonly used for driveways. It’s mostly 1.5”- granite rock with fines. Packs in hard but is dusty. Holds water in most cases.

C ballast is a washed granite rock more consistent in size. Mostly 1.5” Can be used in driveways but commonly used in septic field lines, French drains, etc Does not pack well but does allow water to drain easily. Low in dust.

River rock is most commonly used for decorative landscaping.
