* Super nice mare that’s been off the track for 3 months & lightly restarted!

⭐️ ALQWANI aka Qwin is a sweet-tempered 5yo 17.3h (sticked!) mare who has been lightly restarted (around 10 rides). Her last race was on 9/4/2023. She is athletic, willing, has beautiful uphill conformation, and exceptional gaits. She is sensible under saddle but needs time to think about requests. On her first ride she walked around on the buckle. Qwin has excellent bone and will take up even the longest leg. She has walked, trotted, cantered, and gone over ground poles under saddle. She is excellent for the farrier (including hot shoeing), vet, and chiropractor. Qwin reserves her mare-ish moments (ear action only) to being saddled and blanketed. She does not have any vices. Qwin has been turned out alone and in a mixed herd with no issues. She would probably do best with group turnout. She’s happy in her stall. She currently has four shoes but we expect she will be comfortable in fronts only after she has been off the track for awhile and new hoof quality has grown in, or she could be barefoot in a non-performance home. She is a good (not picky!) eater and loves her hay. Qwin has some arthritic changes in her knees so she would be best as a lower level prospect or as a broodmare. No known prior injuries, PPEs are welcome.

⭐️ TANTIMA - 6 year old, 16 1/2hh mare

I groomed this one last fall so I know a lot about her, she’s easy to handle & get along with. She is not mare-ish & I think will be very easy to get going into a second career. She’s retiring sound, clean legs, & has no vices. She’s a very unique color, it’s pretty rare for a TB to be this dark!
