Project Eric gn went 11.53 and we weren’t even leaning on it yet 😎🔥
Had my cousin Arturo jump in for a quick spin and we had an awesome time at the track. Car’s moving smooth and there’s definitely more left in it 👀🏁
11.53 @ 116 mph on a casual pass… we’ll be back for more soon.

Tough weekend at PDRA in South Carolina. We were involved in an accident with a young rider on a motorcycle, and we’re beyond thankful everyone is okay. At the end of the day, cars and parts can be replaced. People can’t.
The damage was all material, and we’re already getting to work on a new front end to get the car back together. Huge thank you to everyone who stopped to help, checked on us, and supported us through it all. We also appreciate the rider’s family and are grateful they’re doing well.
This sport comes with highs and lows, but we’ll rebuild and be back ready for war soon. 💪🏁
Had a great time with MTools from Puerto Rico and his 2020 1320 Challenger. The car ran its best pass yet at 11.06. Jimmy also had a solid day, going a couple rounds in the bracket race and competing in the 11.50 index.
My Dear Slim (John Halsey),
Sadly, one of the last things you asked me to do was take the show truck out and see just how fast it would go. Your whole crowd was there, and it turned into a very special moment for all of us. Even as you were beginning your journey to heaven, we shared a moment that none of us will ever forget.
By the way, the show truck performed exactly the way you always wanted. At its best it ran 6.56 at 104.46 mph. I know you would have been proud of that run.
You will be deeply missed, brother. Especially by me, your friends, your daughter Melanie, your wife Karen, your father John Sr., your sister Tracy, and your nephew Jason.
I’m incredibly proud of you. Through the years you fought a hard battle for your health, but you always showed strength for your family and friends. Your fight, your spirit, and the memories you gave us will never be forgotten.
Rest easy, brother. We love you.
P.S. Sorry I was, as always, late on the tree.

Sick Week 2026 raised the bar.
Faster averages. Quicker passes. The first-ever 8-second bump spot in the Top 100.
The competition is getting tougher and the margin for error is smaller than ever. That is what makes drag and drive one of the hardest challenges in racing. Speed, consistency, and reliability for hundreds of street miles and full track days.
Felix Garcia Racing is proud to compete with the best and keep pushing for more.
This race was for my friend John Halsey. I dedicated this week to you and I am standing with you during this time. Keep fighting. We are all behind you.
None of this journey happens alone. I want to thank the people who have supported me, helped me, and been there every step of the way.

Another successful Sick Week in the books. We completed the entire journey with no major issues. After long drives and some tough weather, we only dealt with a cracked hitch and a few minor things along the way.
I’m truly grateful and blessed to have the support of great friends and family who make this possible. We finished 4th in a very competitive class and made it back home safe.
I also want to recognize some great racers who made the week even better. The Canadian Acadian team, RC Flint, Mike Finnegan, and Robert.
Special thanks to the people who helped make this possible: Jose Navarro Pito, my crew chief Angel Matos, Steve Rick, Ralph, Drew Holzanger, Mike Hesse, Tony Garguillo, Marie Muller, Scotty G, John Halsey, Paige Cathcart, Cris Trombetta, J C Garcia, and Paul Buchanan.
Big thanks as well to A Place for Wellness and Performance Fabrication for the support.
Proud of the Blue Devil and proud of this team. On to the next one. 🏁
