Don’t wait until it’s too late – know the warning signs of a heart attack 🚑

Every second counts during an emergency. Recognizing the warning signs could save a life, including your own.

❤️ Signs of a heart attack:

• Chest pain or discomfort
• Pain in the jaw, neck, back, arms, or shoulders
• Shortness of breath
• Feeling lightheaded, faint, or unusually tired
• Nausea or vomiting

Call 911 immediately if you observe any of these symptoms in yourself or others.

Falls are one of the leading causes of injury in older adults, but the good news is, many falls are preventable.

Simple ways to prevent falls at home:

• Keep walkways clear (remove rugs, cords, clutter)
• Install grab bars in bathrooms
• Ensure proper lighting in all areas
• Encourage use of walkers or canes if needed
• Wear non-slip shoes
• Review medications with a healthcare provider
