Don't let this be you!

We went to see a widow who wanted to sell her late husband's collection. Unfortunately, a neighbor whom she trusted since they are Leo, and thought they would help. Took advantage in our opinion. Looking at the list of all that was once there it was cherry picked, and lowballed. I base this opinion looking at the list, and what the item was, and what they said they got paid for it. (Example: an M1 carbine for $240.00). Then this person even took an expensive item as payment for helping out. WOW!! really. They left her with only low value or hard to sell items. Mostly black powder.

Obviously as a business we can't pay retail, but to give this lady under half of wholesale that is wrong.

This is why you should go through a FFL. Anything we take in must have a background done on the person buying it from the shop, and you know the person is allowed to own it. When an individual buys it you can't be sure they are legal to own.
