Today, we celebrate all of the women who have successfully come through our programs and for all of you who have supported them in their careers. 🙌 🎉
Since 1980, ANEW has been dedicated to advancing women, people of color, and other underrepresented populations in the construction industry.
Founded by four tradeswomen for tradeswomen in 1989, ‘s commitment to helping women achieve economic independence is integrated in their values, programs, advocacy, and direct services work.

Sometimes college doesn't pan out the way you think, but that's okay! Liz Nichols took the traditional path and got her degree, but struggled to make a living wage. After going through Oregon Tradeswomen's pre-apprenticeship program, Liz is now a Cement Mason with Cement Masons Local #555 and was able to buy a house and start her family!
