Seattle Cisco User Group (SEACUG)

07/26/2016

Hi all!

Please join SEACUG every third Thursday of the Month for discussions of advanced technologies/emerging trends, which covers all topics related to Cisco from Voice, Video, UCS, Security, Routing and Switching to the latest topics on collaboration with other network professionals. Below are the topics to be covered in the coming months:

October 20th, 2016 Topic:
This month's topic will be on the Meraki Platform, and their will be a raffle for an MR18 Meraki AP with a 3 year cloud license. This session will focus on the ability to quickly and easily deploy cloud managed networks. See how Meraki firewalls, switches and wireless access points can help lean IT shops become agile, while increasing visibility into the network. So, attend for a chance to win the AP, but more so to hear all about the fascinating Meraki appliances.

We will review IOS configuration and provide guidance on IOS standardized configuration to help meet the requirements of SOX/PCI/HIPPA, and best practices in general. This is a practical guide to how to configure IOS with security.

Presented by Bryan Madche
Systems Engineer, Cisco Systems.
