Project Spotlight: Garage Rebuild & Weatherproofing Upgrade 🔧🏡

What started as a simple siding refresh turned into a full structural rescue. This detached garage was hiding more surprises than a Seattle pothole — crooked framing, failing sheathing, water intrusion, and a roof edge that had given up the fight years ago. Here’s how we brought it back to life:

✅ Removed all failing siding and exposed the original framing
✅ Rebuilt all three walls to proper 16” on-center spacing
✅ Installed new sheathing, WRB, and HardiePanel siding
✅ Sealed compromised roof edges with reinforced tar
✅ Completed full exterior painting with a durable finish

This garage didn’t just get a facelift — it got a second chance. Stronger framing, better water management, and long-term weather protection, all built to handle whatever the Pacific Northwest throws at it. Another project Crafted with Care and Built to Last.

Project Spotlight: Concrete Subfloor Leveling & Prep 🏗️✨

This Mukilteo condo floor had more ups and downs than a roller coaster, and laminate flooring doesn’t love that kind of adventure. Our mission: get the concrete subfloor flat, stable, and ready for a flawless install — all before the new flooring arrived.

✅ Protected walls, cabinets, and fixtures with full site prep
✅ Ground down high spots and feathered low areas smooth as glass
✅ Repaired cracks and patched voids for long-term stability
✅ Applied self-leveling underlayment across 650 sq ft for perfect tolerance
✅ Verified finish flatness and cleaned up spotless

It took a few bags of underlayment, a couple of diamond discs, and a healthy dose of patience — but now this floor is smooth, strong, and level within 3/16" across 10 feet. Another project Crafted with Care and Built to Last (and safe for socks again).

Project Spotlight: Basement Remodel & Kitchenette Build 🧰🏡

What started as a basement that screamed “unfinished business” is now a bright, open kitchenette ready for coffee, cocktails, and everything in between. Sometimes all it takes is knocking down a wall (and a little creativity) to change everything:

✅ Removed an interior wall to open the layout and connect the laundry area
✅ Built a custom kitchenette to fit range, sink, fridge, and stacked washer/dryer
✅ Installed new cabinetry, countertop, and vented hood for compact efficiency
✅ Integrated plumbing, electrical, and framing adjustments for a seamless finish
✅ Matched paint, trim, and flooring transitions to blend perfectly with existing finishes

The end result feels twice as spacious and five times more useful — proof that even small basements can pack big potential when crafted with care. What used to feel like a storage dungeon now looks like a designer hideout — built to last, made to live in, and maybe even too nice for doing laundry.
