Recently, we welcomed City of Seattle Government Council President Joy Hollingsworth to the South Transfer Station to meet staff and learn more about our solid waste operations and the work we do every day to serve our communities.

We are proud of the crews and teams who help keep Seattle running, and we appreciated the opportunity to share their work and impact.

Our Adopt a Street program supports Seattle neighborhoods with consistent proactive litter abatement routes and by providing resources to communities for cleanup events – such as yellow trash bags, gloves, debris grabbers, and safety vests for visibility.

Tomorrow, Adopt a Street is partnering with the Chinatown-International District Business Improvement Area on its 25th Annual Chinatown-International District Spring Clean event.

Read about this program, how it’s making a positive impact in the Chinatown-International District and Seattle, and sign up to join an Adopt a Street event at: https://bit.ly/4vhM9qR.
