Chasing dreams in the shadow of the iconic Hollywood sign 🌟✨
The Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles, California, stands as a symbol of the glitz, glamour, and allure of the entertainment industry. Originally built in 1923 as a real estate advertisement, the sign has since become a global representation of the city's thriving film and television culture. Perched on the hills of Mount Lee, the 45-foot-tall white letters are a must-see attraction for tourists, offering stunning panoramic views of the city below. Despite its initial purpose, the Hollywood Sign has transcended its commercial origins to become a beloved landmark, embodying the dreams and aspirations of countless aspiring actors, filmmakers, and artists worldwide.
You can view the Hollywood Sign from various points within Griffith Park, but you cannot access the sign itself as it's on restricted property. The best views are typically obtained through hiking trails within Griffith Park, particularly the Mt. Hollywood Trail and the Brush Canyon Trail. Griffith Park and its trails are open from sunrise to sunset, 365 days a year are is free to enter. Parking may charge a fee depending on where you find parking, be sure to look for parking signs and instructions.
The photos shared on social media of the Hollywood Sign on fire were fake news 🔥
Have you moved locations in order to chase your dreams?
I moved to Seattle with the dream of experiencing four seasons, less people and less crime.
Recent census results show San Diego with a Metropolitan Area Population: Around 3.3 million and Seattle with a Metropolitan Area Population: Around 4 million. (Not less people)
And the violent crime rate for Seattle increased from 729 per 100,000 in 2021 to 736 per 100,000 in 2022. San Diego continues to maintain one of the lowest violent crime rates annually when compared to other large US cities. (Not less crime)
At least I have four seasons 🤣
