Early morning song learnin' ☀️ My vow for Matt's open mic at Pump House is to play more upbeat songs. And fast ones, because he's got to stay awake all night running sound and honestly I put myself to sleep sometimes 🥱🥱🥱 It's unclear how much longer we've got over there, so here's me working on one where I have fun playing a game of Where Am I Supposed to Breathe 🙂‍↕️ enjoy! blah blah blah!

10 Years of Undercurrent coming up Wednesday! This is the first song I ever heard by the inimitable • I loved learning it and played it everywhere I went. Shortly after, I moved to Seattle and on a whim managed to catch her at the smallest venue she would ever play again (Tractor Tavern!). I stood front and center staring up from her feet and she and her band knocked my socks off. To this day, one of the absolute best shows I've ever been to. She signed my poster and let me have her set list!! It's crazy looking back at some of the songs on the list that wouldn't be released until much later......... I've seen her several times since and she's got to be one of my top 3 inspirations, hands down. I need to get good so I can learn more of her songs. What a queen. Happy 10 years of one of the all time best albums 🙂‍↕️ 👑
