Blood Cancer United’s Big Climb at Columbia Tower

Climbs round two, this time honoring our beloved community members! 

69 floors. 1,356 steps. 788 feet of elevation, and $712,000 raised (Still counting)! 

The Workshop team returned to The Columbia Tower for another exciting day managing logistics, public safety, and crowd flow. We attended to all those little details, ensuring that the participants could focus on every single step of their journey up the tallest building in Seattle!

Even with Mother Nature rolling in the fog, our community showed up for two unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebrations.

From fleeting views at Alaska Airlines New Year’s at the Needle to the vibrant energy of the Bellevue New Year’s Eve Night Market, the spirit of the night couldn’t be dimmed.

Huge thanks to everyone who bundled up, embraced the mystery, and celebrated with us. When the unexpected happens, preparation and teamwork matter most. Our crew worked hand-in-hand with safety teams and event partners to adapt in real time—adjusting show plans, enhancing wayfinding, and keeping the energy high while prioritizing safety.
