Today marks 9 years since my cancer diagnosis. It’s my Cancerversary!
Nine years since I felt a lump, faced a Dr. who didn’t want to listen and advocated for my personal health. Nine years since my “paranoia” proved to be right.
This is your reminder to check your breasts. Know what is normal for your body. If something feels off, trust that instinct and follow up.
If you are due for a mammogram, schedule it. If you think you are too young, I did too. If you are busy, scared, or putting it off, this is your sign.
Early detection saves lives. Mine included.
Please share this. Please take care of yourself. Please get checked.
Nine years. Still here. Still grateful. Cancer free. 🩷🎀

Eight years ago breast cancer changed my life. Next weekend I will walk in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk as an 8 year survivor and a proud BRCA2 carrier.
I walk for those still fighting, for the ones we have lost, and for those who carry the gene and can take preventative steps before cancer begins. Together we are funding the research, support, and hope that save lives.
Join me in the fight. Walk with my team or make a donation to help us get one step closer to a cure. 🩷 The link is in my bio to donate or join me and walk for a cause!
