Our session proposal for SOCAP26 just advanced to community polling β€” and we'd love your vote! πŸ—³οΈhttps://socapglobal.com/socap-open-2026

"New Capital for New Methods: Financing Starter Home Production at Scale"

Offsite construction can produce starter homes faster, but the financing infrastructure to build at scale doesn't exist yet. The WA Starter Home Plan, together with partners including Craft Contracting and HomeSight, is designing it now.

At SOCAP26 (Oct 12–14, Chicago), we'll share how we're building a layered financing model including revolving loan funds, credit enhancements, and public capital structured to invite private co-investment, and invite you to stress-test it with us.

πŸ‘‰ VOTE to help bring this conversation to SOCAP26.

The slide says it all:πŸ’₯"The only path through [the housing affordability crisis] is to dramatically increase production. And the only way to increase production at the sale and speed we need is to industrialize - make design decisions earlier, industrialize onsite work, and shift more scope offsite."πŸ’₯

We couldn't agree more and are so inspired by all we're learning at the HUD Breakthrough Regional Pilots Program in Washington, DC! πŸ‘πŸ—
