We floated this idea with the City of Shoreline. They're seeking talented Black youth (ages 12-18) to design this year's Juneteenth flyer!
The theme this year is Joy is our RESISTANCE. Please share widely within networks, neighborhoods and schools.

Today, on MLK Day, we remember.
Nonviolence is not an easy path.
It may look that way โ but donโt be fooled.
Nonviolence demands courage, discipline, and commitment.
It is not passive. It is powerful.
And it is a path everyone can walk.
But it requires solidarity.
It requires nearly all of us.
We cannot leave people out.
Justice is a collective effort.
