🌊Already wiped from tabling at the NW Event Show this week (we had a blast!) and dealing with a handful of emergent issues cropping up to start the season, I was praying for a peaceful shift on Friday to coast into the weekend.

Instead....I arrive at South Lake Union at 4 PM and my staff is already in the middle of it. A guest had left their shower running. Through the entire float. Wand spraying water across the room into the pump room. Water under the float cabin. Water in places where water is not supposed to be. I’ve seen a lot of things at the float studios, but this was a new one.
Towels first. Then the squeegee. Then the shop-vac. Then I’m climbing on top of the tank, arm extended over the side, vacuuming puddled water off the floor on the far side...impossible to reach otherwise.

Three hours later, fully dry. Dehumidifier running overnight for good measure.
“Must be a chill job, owning a float business,” they say...

What starts as curiosity… can turn into something you rely on.💚

Karen didn’t expect much from her first float.
It’s now it’s part of her weekly rhythm for years.
Hear how floating helped her reduce stress, and what changed when she stuck with it.

Where has your attention been lately? 🧠

For many of us, it’s pulled toward what feels consuming, urgent, or habitual. Over time, this can leave us feeling disconnected from what matters most to us. Tania Fernandez, a certified life coach, has spent the last year having over 100 conversations exploring what helps people stay engaged with life. This workshop is the culmination of her research and is grounded in the belief that what we pay attention to shapes how we live.

In this session, you’ll learn how to reclaim your attention by noticing where it goes, choosing where to direct it, and building practices that support that choice in everyday life. This workshop integrates reflective journaling, guided discussion, and interactive activities.
