All the downforce…

Well… Ferrari’s doing Ferrari things.

I buttoned up the suspension on this 456 before I left for vacation — new accumulators, fresh left-rear shock, system bled, life was good. Car was happy. I was happy.

Come back from vacation and boom — mystery fluid on the floor. Surprise! The right-rear shock decided it wanted attention too. Go figure.

So now we’re doing this dance again. The LR Shock is coming out, and it’s off for a rebuild. Because why fail at the same time as the RR shock, when you can fail after?

Ughhhhhhhh

After replacing the front and rear bearings for the timing shafts, the front timing cover has been reinstalled onto the car. Also note that the water pump is also reinstalled. Now it’s time for the new timing belts and tensioner bearings.
