Student Disability and Accessibility Center at CSUMB

Not only did we welcome hundreds and hundreds of new students to our campus over the last two weeks during orientation, but our campus also participated in Monterey Pride, walking in the parade and tabling at the event.

Here is a picture of our Health and Wellness Center staff contingent who participated, including three of our staff from the Student Disability and Accessibility Center. Not shown is outgoing CSUMB Counselor Steven Goings, who served as Grand Marshall.

CONGRATULATIONS to our SADE graduates!

Last night we held our Stole Ceremony for Student Awareness for Disability Empowerment (SADE). We are so proud of our graduates!

The first picture is our SADE graduating class in their red SADE stoles, which have the Disability Pride flag on them.

The second picture is SADE Treasurer Carl Viczarra after receiving his stole.

The third picture is our incredible Student Disability and Accessibility Center staff, with two of our graduating student assistants.

The fourth picture is the SDAC staff with our longtime, founding Director Margaret Keith, who received our first ever Lifetime Achievement award for the countless ways she has made a difference in the lives of our students, and others, with disabilities.
