🔧 Employee Spotlight: Marissa Foley 🔧

Marissa has been absolutely crushing it the last two days and deserves every bit of recognition coming her way.

In the past 48 hours she tackled multiple iPads, a tricky MacBook repair, and an iPod that started as a simple screen swap and turned into a full solder job with multiple components replaced. She's also working through a problem iPhone, two problem PS5s, and a GPS.

All of this while managing a busy day at our Dickson City location solo, plus carryover projects, regular traffic, and escalated issues coming in regionally.

Here's what makes this even more impressive: Marissa is most often recognized for her leadership, dedication, and regional management responsibilities, and rightfully so, but she doesn't always get credit for the technician she's become. When she came up in this industry, the work was basic. No complex soldering. No multi-point diagnostics. Over the years she's become our go-to for the most unexpected repairs: car and truck displays, watches, you name it. She is our resident watch whisperer. 🕰️

She has had to completely adapt to our pace and our can-do culture, and she has risen to meet every single ask.

You've come a long way, Marissa. 💪 We see you. Boom. 🎉

This year was all about leveling up. Our team pursued advanced training in data recovery, soldering, and specialized repairs - including industrial cameras that almost no one else in the world is fixing. Watching our technicians tackle these challenges and grow their skills makes me incredibly proud.

Our biggest surprise? Acquiring the residential business of award-winning Nepa Geeks. It happened organically - we kept working closer together until it just made sense to officially be one team. We added their talented computer guys to the iDropped family, and it's been a welcome addition.

Beyond our Edwardsville and Dickson City stores, it's been a big year for the whole iDropped family. Our Stroudsburg franchisee Andrew became a grandfather, our Knoxville franchisee Tiekel welcomed his first son, and me? I turned 50.

It was eventful. It was growth. It was community.
