Spot a hypo fast—save the drama!
If your blood sugar dips below 4mmol/L, that’s hypoglycaemia (aka a “hypo”). Watch for shaky hands, sweats, blurry vision, hunger, dizziness, anxiety, or brain fog.
Quick fix: 15-20g fast carbs if you’re 50kg+ (like 4-5 glucose tabs, half a Coke, or Lucozade). Under 50kg? Scale it to 5-15g.
Skip chocolate or crisps—they’re too slow. Treat it now, recheck in 15 mins, and stay safe!
