There’s something powerful about asking questions.
Not because you don’t know anything.
But because you care enough to go deeper.
We live in a time where you can learn almost anything instantly. Tutorials. Tabs. Breakdowns. AI. It’s incredible. I would’ve killed for that kind of access when I was coming up.
But here’s what I’ve learned after decades in rooms with real players:
Information is everywhere.
Experience is not.
There are things you only pick up by sitting next to someone who has already walked the road. The feel between the notes. How to handle a session when it goes sideways. When to lay out. When to push. How to treat people. How to build a career without burning bridges.
Those lessons rarely show up in a search bar.
The best players I’ve ever known never stopped asking questions. Not because they were insecure. Because they were hungry.
If you’re coming up right now, don’t skip the opportunity to learn from people who’ve already paid the price in time, mistakes, and miles. Not because they’re older. But because they’ve lived it.
Stay confident.
Stay curious.
Ask anyway.
You might be one conversation away from a breakthrough.
