Emergency Hearing Scheduled in Massachusetts Voting Machine Case 06/16/2026

"It's not the voting that's democracy; it's the counting."

— Tom Stoppard

In a David verses Goliath Drama today, THE PATRIOTIC BLONDE states that, " A Massachusetts judge has granted an emergency hearing today in a lawsuit brought by independent U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai, who is seeking to force the state to preserve digital ballot images for the upcoming November 2026 election cycle.

Dr, Ayyadurai argued that digital ballot images are “records and papers” related to acts requisite to voting and must be retained for 22 months after a federal election pursuant to Federal Law.

U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai argued his case today on behalf of all voters in Massachusetts, 'pro se' or as a litigant representing himself in court without the assistance of an attorney.

The crux of his action against the Secretary of the Commonwealth, William H. Galvin, is to inoculate Massachusetts voter's most precious right, their right to vote, from even the remotest possibility of electoral fraud by means of election manipulation, or vote rigging. His action which would neither cost any money, nor would identify how a particular person voted, simply require the Commonwealth to position a switch on voting machines, to the "On" position to preserve the digital ballot image.
