This used to be 7-11. When I was 6 or 7, me and my friends got caught shoplifting here. I embarrassed my grandmother. Probably why I never grew up to steal. Lol. This neighborhood is changing fast. I don't know if it's for the better or worse. I do know my family has had a house on this block since the 1950s, and when I return, I remember that acknowledging my roots is important. Now I understand.
