I love imagery, but it is at its most powerful when successfully coupled with intimacy in some way. I feel fortunate that we occasionally manage to merge the two for a few precious seconds here and there. In this instance it was with the lovely family.

It's an exciting feeling heading to a film festival in person again. Not only that but to a new place for me, on the shores of Lake Superior in my favorite season, when the cool wind begins to pluck a little more tenaciously at the yellowing leaves.
