MathAmigos

66 teachers attended this fall’s MathAmigos’ workshops on October 11 and November 8, designed to give K-8 teachers best practice strategies for inspiring kids to love math. Teachers attended one of three new 3-hour mini-courses: Friendly Fractions, Integrating Mathematical Thinking through Engaging Math Circles and Games, or Enriching STEM Teaching with Creative Data Science. Teachers rated over 90% of workshop mini-courses 4.5 to 5 (5=highest). Much appreciated support from The Encantado Foundation provided teacher stipends.
