A few photos of a mock up for La Boheme at Santa Fe Opera this summer. 28 pleats total for this skirt with a tank to allow for the waist look of the era of the design. The final fabric of those piece is beautiful and I’ll be sharing after La Boheme opens later this summer. I am learning so much in my time as an apprentice here, I can’t wait to keep sharing.

Happy Tutu Day!!!

Here are a few of my works from this fall! The vest was a wonderful custom order and alteration for a senior dancer in the Cincinnati area, and the blue platter was a Snow Queen shipped out at the end of October to Twin Falls Ballet Company in Twin Falls Idaho.
A big thank you for the other designers and dancers in these photos as well.

These were a few renderings from A Little Pear Girl designed for my Costume Design 1 class at Northern Kentucky University this fall. In this post you can see Violetta as both a princess and in her peasant state, along with the three witches she escapes in the forest.

Be sure to stay tuned for NKU’s Dance 25’:Homecoming opening February 28th, where I am one of the costume designers and the assistant costume coordinator for the show. I’m so excited to see all of the choreographers works fully realized on the new Corbett stage!

I also finally have business cards set up , a huge thank you Kat and Kaiti, probably the best bosses to ever live.

I’ll catch up here for an update soon🩷

So thankful for my fellow tutu makers! Amanda Brake was so kind to get some scraps sent out to me super quickly for this vest I had to remake because my client grew a few inches. I’ll forever be thankful for everyone I met at the Tutu Makers Conference this summer. It’s so wonderful to have the support of seasoned makers as I make my way into this world
