USCIS completes H-1B cap lottery

USCIS announced that it received nearly 233,000 H-1B petitions for the FY2016 H-1B petition filing period. The agency completed the random selection process (lottery) on April 13, 2015 to select enough petitions to meet the cap. Unselected petitions will be returned with filing fees.
