Just wrapped up my inaugural archery tournament, marking my first-ever indoor 300 shoot. I’m 8 months in to this experiment, and I get why folks become obsessed with chasing that PR. The consistency and dedication required to execute at the highest level is astounding.

I performed below my potential, but am I in no way upset with my rookie year experience. This was all about learning, and I tried to soak in as much as possible. I was able to secure 11th place out of 325 in the Barebow Flight category. The competitive atmosphere of this event is electric and was definitely a highlight for me.

While knowing I have room to grow, this experience has fueled my determination. My eyes are set on the Championship division for 2026, ready to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the BBR legends that this tournament attracts.

I couldn’t be prouder of my teammates—all four of us landed in the top 25, with a special shoutout to .be for clinching 5th place. Huge thanks to our sponsor for believing in us young archers and letting us carry their flag into battle.

Now it’s time to get back outside and slay some 3D with just 4 weeks away.
