Remember Hart, the tiny puppy who was turned into the shelter with red dye painted on his body in the shape of hearts? After testing positive for Parvo and spending 5 grueling days hooked up to IV fluids at the urgent care vet, we have an amazing update.

Now officially named **Getty** (short for Spaghetti! 🍝), this resilient little fighter is recovering exactly how we wanted him to. He is officially rocking normal stool, has a great appetite, and is gaining his spunky energy back by the minute. He’s almost 3lbs now and he was half that when we picked him up.

It is incredible to see his true personality finally shine through now that he’s feeling like a normal puppy again. We are currently getting his follow-up checkup appointment scheduled to ensure he is 100% in the clear and can officially start prepping for his forever home. Getty still has a bit of a road ahead before he’s ready for adoption, so if you’d like to help us cover the final stretch of his medical bills, we would be so grateful for your continued support.
