While holidays are crazy busy, I always look forward to the time we get to escape and be with family - away from all the other busy stuff going on in life. I am so grateful for these moments and it’s a reminder of why we do what we do - it’s all for family!

I’m thankful for an amazing year getting off the ground and doing it with the support of my biggest cheerleaders - my family. This year wouldn’t have happened without the support of my Twenty & Creek team and the time they each put in to making this vision a reality every day.

I hope your Thanksgiving was filled with joy and the company of loved ones!

Yesterday I conquered a fear! Anyone who knows me knows I don’t like public speaking. I much prefer to work behind the scenes, away from the limelight. So when asked and I to share the stage at , my first reaction was… “nope, no way.”

In the end, I committed and I’m so glad we were able to share our founder stories with so many local entrepreneurs. I wish I had an event like this when I started my business - just listening to founders speak openly about their journey.

I launched after nearly a decade and a half as a stay-at-home mom. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to be home with my children in their early years and now my kids get to watch me build a business (and even help). Starting a business came with the crippling fear of failure and imposter syndrome. I still feel that to this day. But I have to remind myself, and all the other mothers out there, that raising children, running a household and everything else that comes with motherhood qualifies us - no, overqualified us - as entrepreneurs in our own right. Every experience I had leading up to Twenty & Creek prepared me for running my own business. From customer service to empowering my team to overseeing facilities - I’ve done it all and now look forward to growing our business through these valuable skills.

To all the stay-at-home moms (and dads), you’ve got the skills and the knowledge to start your venture when the time is right. Do it!

Thank you to my biggest cheerleader and support, for championing me in this journey and pushing me forward when I need a boost. Thanks to my team at Twenty and Creek and the dear friends we’ve found at several charities we support - , and many others! Thanks for coming out to support… and thanks to for pushing me out of my comfort zone. I loved the experience and look forward to sharing my story with many others along the way.

I may have gone a little overboard with the decorations this year, but sometime you just have to go all in. I’d say the costumes turned out pretty great too 😂
