Soroptimist International of San Ramon Valley

SI of San Ramon Valley unfortunately disbanded in 2022 due to low membership. Anyone interested in this organization can look into other clubs in the region which include: Soroptimist Int’l 24/680 club in the Walnut Creek and surrounding area; Soroptomist Int’l East Bay in the Castro Valley area; Soroptomist Int’l Tri Valley in the Pleasanton area.

Was nice having a potluck at Jenny’s house on Wednesday, it’s been a long wait but we are getting back to meeting in person.

Fellowship Virtual Fun Run/Walk - Dream Big for Education
If walking or running is your thing, remember to register for a 1 mile, 2 mile or 5 K route and walk or run where you choose to do this activity. Observing CDC guidelines is a must. (See also page 16 of the Call to Conference.) Go to www.raceroster.com and search "Dream Big" to register. Registration for the event is $25.00. T-shirts are extra. If you wish to purchase an event T-Shirt please do so as soon as possible as we have to meet a purchase minimum by April 30th. The event itself runs from May 15-29. Again, for every $1,000 raised by Fellowship with this fundraiser, the Fellowship Board will select a Fellow or "level-up."

Our goal is to have each club get 2 members to do this event and those 2 in turn invite 2 other people (non-members are great), and so on. If with just 2 members, that would mean approx. 112 participants and it just grows from there. This is a great way to do something with your family and friends, keeping safety in mind.
