Today, I remember a dear friend—a gifted musician, a true professional, and one of the kindest souls I have ever known. He poured his heart into his craft and gave so much of himself to the people and work he loved. Though life brought him pain and disappointment, he didn’t allow those moments to define him.
Instead, he found his way back to what brought him the greatest joy—music.
Seeing him sing again reminded us all that passion has the power to heal, and that even after life’s deepest hurts, we can choose joy again.
