“What I’m Working On Right Now...”
Getting over my fear of being on camera.
Instagram feels flooded with fresh-faced women in their 20s and 30s—still in the baby-wearing years, glowing with youth, sharing aesthetic reels that look like movie scenes.
And here I am. 48.
With wrinkles that are settling in, eyelids that droop, and a neck that definitely sags on camera.
Some days, I wonder if I’m out of touch.
If I’m too late.
If there’s still space for an
“older” baker here.
But here’s what I know:
I have something to say.
I’ve earned every line on this face.
And there are women out there who need to see someone who looks like them-still creating, still growing, still rising.
So here I am. Learning reels.
Figuring it out. Showing up anyway.
And maybe, just maybe, reminding another woman:
You are not too old. You are not too late.
