For Chelsea, travel isn’t just a break — it’s a refill. A way to reset creatively and see the world (and design) through a fresh lens.

From the rich pattern play of textiles to ornate facades and the serenity of the Amsterdam canals — these small, beautiful moments become part of the design vocabulary we bring home.

This laundry room used to be an outdated afterthought — tucked away and utilitarian at best. But in this Redwood City home, we saw an opportunity to turn it into something much more: a peaceful, practical, and powerful space that blends function with meaning.

Now serving as both a laundry room and mudroom, this space is hardworking and beautiful — a transition zone that grounds the rhythm of family life.

We wrapped the walls in Toile de Femmes by — a wallpaper our client instantly connected with. Featuring bold and iconic women, it felt both empowering and cheeky to place them in a room that’s so often considered a “women’s space.” Instead of reinforcing that narrative, we reframed it.

Because beauty belongs everywhere. And functionality doesn’t have to be boring.
