Small compilation of my S54 exhaust setup with 6 into 1 headers. All but the last clip is running ARH headers + Race Exhaust (resonated). The last clip is a custom header back exhaust from . If you want to hear more of the custom exhaust, just say it in the comments!
ARH 6-into-1 headers on the E46 M3 focus on high-RPM power rather than low-end torque. Dyno testing showed significant top-end gains over stock and traditional header setups when paired with a proper tune, but with some torque loss below ~5,000 RPM. Build quality and sound are excellent, and the headers really shine on track where the S54 lives in the higher rev range. Best suited for drivers chasing peak power and performance, not low-RPM street torque. Thanks to european auto source for the dyno time.
Not your typical S54 exhaust note.

Back in 2022, when my E46 M3 was slowly transforming into a lightweight T/A monster.

The plan was to take my E46 M3 to the all-new Buttonwillow Circuit for Round 2 for , but I wasn't able to fix it in time so I made a last minute decision to take my E92 M3. Took it to @ for a last minute oil change, brake flush and trans top-off. After doing my first session, I quickly realized that's not enough to push it hard on track.
Although I'm on XTA coilovers, ML-10RT 18x10.5 ET22 on NT01 275/35/18, the brake department is where I was really limited. Stock calipers, pads and lines overheated real fast. It was hard to trust the car even on the first hot lap of each session because the brakes overheated after just a few corners. At one point in the 1st session, I thought I was going into the wall on T1. Dipped a tire in the dirt because I couldn't stop and then I just pulled off the track.
It was a fun experience, but a humbling one and made me realize how beast my E46 is. The .inc isn't all for looks! Happy to say I tracked this car finally. 📷: .m3
