Frictional unemployment is the result of voluntary employment transitions within an economy.

“Permanent Income Hypothesis in Lagos, Nigeria”
Dear Lagos State Residents:
Chidinma Ukwungwu is updating “Rational Expectation and Permanent Income Hypothesis (PIH) in Lagos, Nigeria” a paper originally co-authored by myself, Abiodun Musbaudeen and my Xiamen University Tan Kah Kee College colleague Dr. Wang Jing.
The original paper is based on data collected from residents in Lagos, Nigeria in 2017. We found that permanent income influences permanent consumption in the short-run and long-run. Chidinma's extension test whether COVID-19 changed these consumption patterns.
Chidinma's 'after Covid-19' analysis needs your input. Your time and consideration are greatly appreciated completing the following survey.
Sincerely,
Daniel Barkley, Ph.D.
