We have an amazing line up for the Monologue Night, happening THIS Saturday, March 14. The night's monologues are across Theatre, Film, and TV. 🎭🎥📺 Who recognizes the most faces? Winner gets candy. But you have to come to the show!!

A monologue is an extended speech delivered by one character. It can be spoken to another character, to the audience, or even to oneself, but at its core, it’s a single voice holding the stage.

More than just rambling, what makes a monologue powerful is its intimacy. Monologues demand attention. It’s a high-stake moment where the listener is being invited into the characters mind. The character reveal motivations, secrets, fears, humor, contradictions, all the parts of a story that may have remained hidden up until this point. There’s no more hiding behind cryptic dialogue or interactions. It’s a single emotional truth unfolding in real time.

Across TV, Film, and Theatre, monologues have been one of the most enduring storytelling tools. They demand vulnerability from the actor and active listening from the audience, creating a uniquely electric connection between the two.

The power of a monologue comes from when one person steps forward and says, “Listen,” and we do.

Maybe it's a moment of Seinfeld's nonsense rambling or Lexie Grey finally confessing her love to Sloan (I can't breathe!). Whether You Want the Moon, or You Can't Handle the Truth, or you're You're Just a Kid and You Don't Have the Faintest Idea What You're Talkin' About, this is your chance to get on your soapbox!
