We got a tag off today! These boys are so curious and sweet.

We have 1 tag to go, one of the geldings had his cut off at the corrals as it was getting really tight around his neck.

Long awaited arrival of these 3 South Steens mustangs!

As I have grown in my business, I have found I really enjoy training mustangs and helping them get forever homes., and recently a dream of mine was to help people pick their horse, board it at my barn, and train it together with me. 3 of my lessons students showed interest and today that dream became a reality!

This summer will be full of training, learning and bonding. These 3 boys don’t know how great of a life they’ve got planned for them. And I am so extremely excited to be able to help train them!

Meet Troubadour, or Tru for short. He is my new lesson hopeful horse at my Jefferson location. He is a 6yr old Mustang gelding from Utah. With an extensive background we hope to be his landing place for the rest of his life, but only time will tell. Tru was trained mostly in round pens and on the trail, he’s been camping and packing and loves the outdoors. So when he moved to our arena it was a big switch for him. I let him settle in for 2 months and the. We started him back in school recently to see if any holes were missed and to build a connection with him. I’m excited to see how he does, he already loves the kids and a busy barn life.
