I say to you directly — YES.

Even when they long for freedom, love, and a good life — THEY ARE PRISONERS.

And the most terrible thing about this prison?

THEY BUILT IT THEMSELVES.

With every escape from pain. With every refusal to feel. With every moment they chose numbness over life.

Your love cannot break their prison walls. Only THEY can break them — when they choose to turn the key from inside.
