This morning I didn’t wake up early to run. I decided to stay in bed because it’s the last chance to sleep in before the start of 2nd grade. Some day (probably soon) she won’t need to snuggle with daddy.

We have been so busy trying to cram whatever we can into the kids summer. Jenns been trying to wrap up all of her weddings, I’ve been slammed at work and studying for an EA exam, and we have been getting ready for the new baby to arrive in just a couple of weeks. Just saving this photo for a moment of calm in the storm.
